Clash for Gold # 5 - Titles are Important

The Family Feud in the North Family. How it went down, why, my take on the positives, the organization, the attacks, meeting new people, and my completely messed up assumptions about how it was going to go down on TS. Hardcore with nonstop planning! No way. Was the opposite for obvious reasons that my war side neglected.
I have a complete mental meltdown somewhere past the middle of this episode. The music is the queue for when things go bonkers. Kept it all cause it's audiomentary. I'd actually go as far as claiming that this is the closest i've gotten to the oldschool Raid Warning episodes with Seven and Brian Hough (and Thespius at times). Even I get completely shocked of my state while recording. A 100% sober but entirely Joker'd up.
Spent alot of time finding a fitting soundtrack to this insanity and had a blast doing it! And now i've learned so much about what to expect while editing that I can mess around with more.

Clash for Gold # 4 - For Those About to CoC

I couldn't sleep, so I recorded and jump straight into the action with Metallica pumping in the background.
My thoughts on 8.5. My change of perspective over time, wanting to hit harder bases (seeing TH6-8 in some matchups since we're top heavy).
Why I don't choose a hard hitter's strategy like Hulk aka Green Man did when he was in Reddit Troopers. Defending becomes more important.
Upgrading heroes. My thought process. Pros and cons as a TH9.
Maxxing out Townhalls on my minis, so that I can stay up to date with low level wars. The basics. The foundation for higher level warfare. TH6, ,7, 8 nr 1, 8 nr 2 and a TH9. Forgot to mention my Altitis which is the reason why I play multiple alternate accounts.
Realizations. All of a sudden i'm close to having max troops as a TH9. Feels so odd that it went so fast. But that happens if you gem the time on heroes and on certain troops.

Clash for Gold # 3 - The Beauty in Learning

This 3rd episode was recorded on the same night as episode 1 and 2
Learning new things adds beautiful colors and nuances to the spectrum of life. Like learning new languages
Using Bluestacks for war and my positive experience when my crackpad broke (shattered iPad). Pros n cons
Dropping Skitch. Using MS Paint to sketch attacks on the PC
Scheduling life and wars
Joining clans that look at members wanting to improve and being a good fit is important
My love for base building
Buff to Valks switching to buildings faster like Hunters in WoW switching to adds on boss fights
Using the Samsung s2 Tab + Blue Yeti Pro + USB Audio Recorder to record and loving it

Clash for Gold # 2 - From the Depths of Hell

I've had a lot things happen the past 8 months. I can definitely tell that I actually needed to get some real talk in here too, so this one gets deep and personal. This was recorded on the same night as episode 1. Just released later.

Leaving clans/guilds has become alot easier over time. Recovery and Co-dependancy. Life lessons. Life, death, social media, 12 step programs, Rest in Peace to all of my friends (and Pimp C from UGK)
Troubles with finding clans on a EU timeline. Especially that's connected to a hardcore clan family. What i'd do if I couldn't war on the level I need/want to
Fresh hits and why I love them.
3 stars are a team effort. One attacker can't win the war, only the battle
Looking for hardcore family clans in EU is harder than in the US. Less podcasters and exposure than the US. Although now, while typing, I realized that there might be Youtubers connected to HC clan families. Only problem? I can't stand most Youtubers and their fake, made up personas
Being low, hitting high. Being a special snowflake. Some lessons and realizations in Spartan Lore and North Faction+

Clash for Gold # 1 - Hardcore is the only path left

Tried chopping this 1 down but there were so many topics hit at various times going in and out of eachother. Be warned! Between 21:20-27:50 I recorded when Stormwindz (my 1yo) was crying in the background sporadically. Lower the volume or skip ahead!

Changing clan from a friends family type clan to learn faster and to play with more hardcore players. In other words players that want to improve but that won't cheat to do it .
Looking at different clans with 54 war stars to my name .
TED Talks. Me being a multipotentialite and what that means when I begin new endeavors in life. I'm learning faster cause of it .
The importance of having an outlet when having a family life with alot of things happening. Using CoC as a break from life but getting better at balancing things and not fleeing thru gaming.
Becoming more and more hardcore and now identifying with players that have a military background in CoC/WoW. Forgot to mention Aargh_pc from CoC fighters.
Leaving Spartan Lore (feeder). ByeForever merging with Valar Morghulis (sister clan).
I actually won a Google Play card thru Clash in the North podcast (the official North Family podcast) and ended up applying to North Faction weeks later. The need to be a part of a hardcore clan family that also has a good attitude, so that I can learn from the best without having to be on the same schedule as them.

The greatest motivator of all when I podcast. A complete loathing of hours spent by podcasters @ all kinds of topics. Things I will and things won't talk about. Suddenly it hits me. Hard! Troop contests. *Grayz turns off the recording 10s later*
