Clash for Gold # 9 - "Just Think!"

Hello4Now has reached level 5! Took a long time. Thanks to every single player that helped us get there over the course of time!
New, more solid priorities in life and in CoC. Less fear of getting judged (What's up, Hoebag! ^^).
Looking for a clan. Farming vs casual war vs serious war vs pushing vs sleeper clans.
My new clan scouting strategy. Using minis before committing to a clan with my TH9.
Why hasn't anyone created a huge website where any player/clan that's interested can look for scrims, sister clans, players, switching subs in and out etc. It's as if the players that would care are so few in CoC in comparison to players in WoW (ie www.wowhead.com), CS:GO or even Diablo 3 where such sites have grown organically.
Pros n cons of different clans. Level 10 perks. Clan chat. Friendly challenges. Wars and pushing whenever I want. Missing the mentality of the most hardcore that have the best discussions, ideas, efficient strategies @ farming / wars / pushing etc. Move all accounts to Hello4Now? The upside is being able to donate troops constantly to whichever accounts I need troops on. I can always visit old homes and other clans that I know get really busy. H4N is currently the most appealing option.
I'll write a table with pros and cons for each type of option and use itto help finalize my decision.
Finally an "actual" guest appearance by my girlfriend! I finally had to come up with a nickname when editing. She chose the Deagle, for close quarter combat with pistols and rifles. So from now on i'll refer to her as Deagle.

Clash for Gold # 8 - The Crossroads

Notice: Forgot to mention that Reddit Omicron is a part of the ByeForever family too.
Using multiple accounts on Android? Using "2Face" for fast switching. Using "Parallel Space" for an extra log in on a 3rd acc. Can also create a shortcut to the home screen with these apps.
Plans to challenge my own bases with minis to practice my base building rather than attacking. Using short drills. Why having main accounts active clan becomes so much more important post update since the challenge update.
Using different mindsets and how it affects how I play. From all out war to farming, over the course of my break which now has morphed into a new phase, where I rather would get into the next learning endavour outside of CoC.
The pitfall of the hardcore mindset. The impossibility for me to play without long-term goals in games that bring out my competitiveness. Even if the goal has nothing to do with any serious competitive play. Why? Cause pushing boundaries is one of the most fun aspects of learning.
Scratching my nose, scratching my eyebawl and Ghosts scratching my walls! Scared the hell out of me.

Clash for Gold # 7 - Return of the Silver Goblin

Upgrading the most expensive things first as long as they're a top priority. It makes the rest feel so much easier to upgrade in comparison.
Upgrading defenses aggressively.
Pushing to see if the bonuses were worth the cook times. Breaking my old records finally lead to me going all Goblins. Resources for troops are important when pushing.
Level 6 Gobs = More loot. Faster. Army Comp 1: 196-210 Goblins 5-12 Wall breakers 2 heals 4 Quakes. Army Comp 2: 196-210 Goblins 5-12 Wall breakers 2 heals 2 jumps.
Done all elixir upgrades but Baby Dragons and Walls. Gemmed the time @ Barracks, Lightning spell and Dark spell factory.
Practicing efficiently. Inspired by Thorin's Thoughts - Playing to your individual strengths on Youtube.
Some thoughts about the fair play fundamentalists and their snowflake worries @ Friendly Challenges in clan wars. Don't worry, I'm a special snowflake too!

WoG Brainstormz # 32 vs Clash for Gold # 6 - Blizzard vs Supercell: Dawn of Justice

"CoC has died". Again.
"WoW has died". Again.
Blizzard (WoW), Supercell (CoC), organizational changes in companie and my analysis from the outside looking in.
Annoying fairplay fundamentalists (yeah, I go there)
Sticking to my own joy filled path, outside of communities, in the scorched CoC land of FPC, modders, quitters, haters and schizos that lova and hate the CoC.
Sweden's co-dependancy system (Jantelagen).
Thooorin's Alpha Draft commercial impersonation goes to hell. Get dat sick scrilla on his Youtube.
Hashtag #keepcalmimright because I can.

Clash for Gold # 5 - Titles are Important

The Family Feud in the North Family. How it went down, why, my take on the positives, the organization, the attacks, meeting new people, and my completely messed up assumptions about how it was going to go down on TS. Hardcore with nonstop planning! No way. Was the opposite for obvious reasons that my war side neglected.
I have a complete mental meltdown somewhere past the middle of this episode. The music is the queue for when things go bonkers. Kept it all cause it's audiomentary. I'd actually go as far as claiming that this is the closest i've gotten to the oldschool Raid Warning episodes with Seven and Brian Hough (and Thespius at times). Even I get completely shocked of my state while recording. A 100% sober but entirely Joker'd up.
Spent alot of time finding a fitting soundtrack to this insanity and had a blast doing it! And now i've learned so much about what to expect while editing that I can mess around with more.

Clash for Gold # 4 - For Those About to CoC

I couldn't sleep, so I recorded and jump straight into the action with Metallica pumping in the background.
My thoughts on 8.5. My change of perspective over time, wanting to hit harder bases (seeing TH6-8 in some matchups since we're top heavy).
Why I don't choose a hard hitter's strategy like Hulk aka Green Man did when he was in Reddit Troopers. Defending becomes more important.
Upgrading heroes. My thought process. Pros and cons as a TH9.
Maxxing out Townhalls on my minis, so that I can stay up to date with low level wars. The basics. The foundation for higher level warfare. TH6, ,7, 8 nr 1, 8 nr 2 and a TH9. Forgot to mention my Altitis which is the reason why I play multiple alternate accounts.
Realizations. All of a sudden i'm close to having max troops as a TH9. Feels so odd that it went so fast. But that happens if you gem the time on heroes and on certain troops.

Clash for Gold # 3 - The Beauty in Learning

This 3rd episode was recorded on the same night as episode 1 and 2
Learning new things adds beautiful colors and nuances to the spectrum of life. Like learning new languages
Using Bluestacks for war and my positive experience when my crackpad broke (shattered iPad). Pros n cons
Dropping Skitch. Using MS Paint to sketch attacks on the PC
Scheduling life and wars
Joining clans that look at members wanting to improve and being a good fit is important
My love for base building
Buff to Valks switching to buildings faster like Hunters in WoW switching to adds on boss fights
Using the Samsung s2 Tab + Blue Yeti Pro + USB Audio Recorder to record and loving it
